Whats the Pitch on the 01' Lugnuts?

I ordered some open end lugs to run with my slicks, but when they came in (ordered for a 2000, 2001 wasn't in the book yet) they were 2 small.

the 99/00 have 12mm lugs, but the 01' has 14mm. However, we do not know what the pitch is and none of the shops around here have studs to try the stock lugs on.

I am guessing it is a 2.0 pitch, 1.5 looked too small.

Who's got the answer?

You must have gotten nuts for a 99. The 00's use the the same 14mm nuts that
the 01 use.

Fast Gator,

The local KOI, can get em, they have a box of 6 at one store and a box of 6 at another store.

bggroth,

The book they have lists the 12mm for the 00' SVT model in the "h" style lug. that is what they ordered.

perhaps their book is wrong

i got some open ended "acorn" style lug nuts to use with my slicks.. some tracks require the wheel studs to be seen. mine are the 14mm ones for a 2000 L.

Beefcake,
Thier book is wrong then. The 99 L nuts are definately 12mm, but the 00 and 01 are interchangeable at 14mm. I have owned all three years of Lightnings and went thru the same ordeal as you are for my drag radials.

btw, I never did find open ended acorn style nuts, ended up settleing for closed nuts like the stock ones but deeper.

Beef, since you are using the JDM wheels which the center sections are cut out from OEM Ford rims, you can use your stock lugs. If you want an open end style stock lug, just go to your local Ford dealer and get some 00-up Navigator, Expedition, of regular F-150 lugs. All those wheels use center caps, so they have the open end lugs. They should have them in stock, especially since there was a recall on the lugs a few years ago, so all the dealers stock the updated lugs.

Gator, you know that I gave you a bag of the correct lugs for your truck with those rims right?

LightninRod, there are no Ford lugs that can be used with the Bajas, unless you have a 99, then the 12mm Ford lugs fit inside the recess in the rim. If you have the 14mms, the Ford lugs don't work. I got a set of Gorilla Lugs for my Bajas from a local truck shop in 2.0x14mm.

beefcake,

The lugs I gave the P/N for are the flat bottom type with the rotating washer built in.
