Bassani is a class act! NEW PICS!

Well I got home last night and I saw this big huge box sitting on my front step and I couldn't believe it said bassani on the side of it. As some of you know I bitched bassani out a couple weeks ago and got a good response about the exhaust cats. Well I sent another E--mail to the person that was incharge of recalls or what ever and I haven't gotten a response back yet. So I can't believe without me knowing what was going on bassani just sent me a new setup like this one shown. I wasn't informed of it coming nor did I think any body new my address or anything, I was shocked. So I took some pics of the new set up.

What you get is this.

A close up of the cats:
There allot smaller then before but they sound so much better. The new cats have deeper tone to them, just inbetween the old cats and my old setup with the dynomax race mufflers instead of cats. I think it sounds allot better!

Talk about a pain in the A$$ though. I hate having to jack up my truck like this, but it looks cool..

Steve, we should change this so we can have more pics to be able to post at once. Hold on guys I got more. funny stuff!

This is the bassani toold of choice for me. No matter how good I get with this exhaust I always have to go back to my roots and bust out the hammer for that damn X pipe connection. I hate that part.

And let me tell you what, either ford makes some tough a$$ O2 sensors (doubt it) or my plyers just suck big time.

And I was just wondering for those of you that have this creeper too! Do you ever roll around and some times get your skin caught by the wheels inbetween the metal. That hurts like hell!

Later guys

Non-exhaust related question for RTKILLA...

RTKILLA: What type of taillights are those? I noticed the reflection from the camera flash is white (as opposed to the red I would assume it would be for stock tails I have on my '00), so I'm guessing they're 2001's...but for some reason I thought the outside contour of the tails changed this year when they went to the chrome background Altezza-style light...compared to the 3 "bubbles" on the 99/00's, so I wasn't sure.

If they are other than Ford OEM 2001 tails, could you post some close-up pics if you get the chance? I'd appreciate it.

Oh yeah, how's that 450F been treating you? How is it to start (hot and cold)?

Thanks. Later...

GK

They are the old clear ones that the online store used to have here. there just like the stock 99/00 lights but the colors are reversed on them. there nice, but I want to get the 01 lights once they come down in price a bit.

The 450 has been great! I love it. hot, cold, dumped, she starts up right away with no games at all. half the time I don't even use the hot start lever when I'm riding and it starts up great.

I just did a oil/tranny change on her and put the mobil 1 motor cycle 4 stroke oil in and the motor seems to run a bit smoother now. I haven't had a chance to test it on the track but it kicks over easier. The tranny fuild was pretty nasty but not allot of shavings in there, and I abuse the hell out of my clutch. I hardly ever use a clutch when I'm shifting, HEHEHEHE.

All in all this bike is killer and allot of fun, It won't take the place of the L but its well worth all my time and effor to ride and ride and ride. Yoshimura has an exhaust system for it now, its supposed to be 4lbs total from front to back and costs $720.00 bucks, ouch. there claiming 4hp gain with it though. thats allot! I won't get it yet, maybe next year when the season really starts up again.

Its L mod time now, I'm putting together my list of toys to order soon.:
PSP stuff: shift kit, converter, water pump, 4lb pulley, traction bars, 15 inch wheels, 4.10 gears, and I'm sure I'll find more stuff to get once sal respoonds to my mail about what other stuff to buy. I want to run 11's on nuts with no juice.
