12 inch subs in Lightning

Hey Guys, I posted this in the subwoofer section and did not get any response, so can any of you guys help

Can 12 inch subs hold behind the Lightning seats? I already have a alpine head unit and sound processor along with a 400 a4 and a 500a2 Rockford Fosgate amp. I was thinking of going with two JL Audio 12w6's for subs to handle the power of the 500a2.

I was back behind the seats cleaning(like that's a suprise) and I noticed the area where the seatbelts recoil.

The interior panel seems to have quite a bit of room behind it. I wonder if a small driver would fit in there. Hmmmm...

Thanks guys, those boxes are way cool. What was the required cubit inches for your subs. I am guessing they were both sealed enclosers.

The manufacturer's recommended minimum volume for sealed boxes is 0.88 cubic feet. I'm currently in the process of installing two 12" SoloBarics in a box that has approximately 1.1 ft3. Using a Kicker DX700 monom amp for the subs and a Kicker ZR240 for the mid's. The box is built and need to finish fiberglassing it. I'm planning on painting the box gloss black (to match the L) with some other little extras for the car shows.

Here's the info from their site.
