Thumbs up He's Home :-)

Woo Hoo!! The Copper dog is in the building. They called us this morning and said he was doing great and we could pick him up today!! Got there about 3pm and picked him up and took him home! He's got quite a bit of recovery time physically, but he's acting like his normal self which makes me feel much better :-).

So far we've raised about half the bill in donations. I know that many have mailed thier donation to us via regular mail as well. If anyone still wants to help out, please contact me.

I would like to take this time to thank all those who have lent support for me in this time, be it spritual or monetary. I am so greatful to all who have helped. I didn't know how to even ask for help, but I tell you what, the best people in the world are on this board. I knew that there would be many people willing to help out here, because the vendor thing aside, the people on this site are of top notch caliber.

Here are a few pics of the pooch after coming home:

Sal,
Great to hear the good news, I can see why you are so attached, Copper is a great looking dog, I hope he becomes 120 percent of the dog he was before his illness. I couldn't be happier for you, on how everything turned out. I would say you made the right choices.

Hey Sal,
good he home, I saw him a few weeks ago and he looked pretty happy.
he is a nice little dog. lol
Heres the photos I told you about Sal.
To get an idea of the size of these dogs, check out the bottom attachment . I am with the male (bruno) and you know I am 5-10 about 190lbs. The Dobermans are a very special breed.
Glad he doing better.
John

Sal, I'm glad Copper is doing well. Dogs are part of the family. They are like children. We had a Dalmation that went through a serious illness and recovered. We had 4 wonderful years with her after she got better.
