What makes you guys think that big ol' 4 door Harley truck with 340 horses is gonna be fast, and that the new Ram with the new Hemi 330 horses wich is lighter is gonna be slow, what what happens when the 2 meet at a light and the Ram is blown, here comes trouble..just a thought..but hey what do I know I'm just a 20 year old

Thumbs down

Gee, doesn't that engine look familiar! Ford will do anything for money, even take a engine from a "Special" Vehicle, and put it in anything that will turn a profit. I said it once, I'll say it again, I don't feel so special anymore....

Look at the size of that upper pulley on that blower!

upper pulley, lower pulley, chip, filter, and a good driver will get that truck in the 12's. Its not that much heavier then a L. Maybe what 1000 pounds to 1500 pounds.

I bet there is only about a 500lb. difference in weight. That equated to about a half second. I bet you could get mid 12's with standard bolt ons.

So are all Harley Davidson models coming supercharged now, or is it an option on them?

already very similar

If you've ever crawled under the HD, I'm sure you've noticed that even the exisitng HD is very similar to the Lightning. They even have the same suspension, complete with SVT stickers on the control arms. Of course, maybe ford is trying to clear out their contract for the G2 Lightning drivetrain to make way for a better model in 03. I think they had a contract to make at least 7500 engines or so anyway.

Just imagine a vehicle that BIG with basic mods and FOUR people outrunning Mustangs and Camaros!
