I bought an Expedition Center Console from LWM for $140 shipping included. If you get one from an earlier Expy you can still use your arm rests on the seats.

Since we don't have armrests, you might want to get a 2000-2001 Expy console.

Check out Rick's (www.******.com) website for all of the part #'s and pics.

Best mod yet, IMO.

Thumbs up Awesome

TampaSVT,

That is one of the best mods I have seen. I hate our 60/40 split bench.

How much did you spend to get your passenger seat (60) modded. And where did you get it done.

Any help is appreciated

Joe

Total cost including the console was around $400-500.00

Upholstery shop had the seat done the same day.

Check out Rick's site for the Ford part #'s.

I just noticed what an awesome idea the center console idea was and the conversion of the right bench to a bucket seat. Can you provide me the upholsery shop that did it with any require part numbers? Just awesome. Thank David

Is that a computer in your console? I was thinking about doing the same thing, but instead with an xbox. I guess a computer would have a bigger HD size, but seems like it would be a pain to use/run. Where did you move the ac controls to?

I was thinking about doing this mod, I was wondering, has anyone thought of anyway to keep the two seats with the expi center console and 4 point racing belts. I know you have to have it come over your shoulder, so the only way to do it would to be cuts holes in the seat which seems risky.

That and half the people in this thread were banned

Maybe there's a connection between bucket seat conversions and getting booted

I know you are kidding but its a Perfect example of the conspiracy therorists at work -

No one in this thread was banned. Tampa was suspended for like 30 different examples of marketing that he was warned about over and over. All he had to do was stop marketing and apologise and he would have been welcomed back

So even if you count Tampa - Thats ONE, its a long way from half - Bulldog doesnt count ... He didnt post on this thread

Ok I exhagerated the half but bulldog was mentioned in this thread. And I hardly consider myself as a conspiracy theorist...as a matter of fact I like to close my eyes on the whole idea of it and enjoy living in the good ole' US of A I have grown to love. Speaking of love...I only yank your chain because I love you and this board so much Doug
