Reviving this thread because I have the fuel door and still have yet to see one on a Silver L....I didn't want to go chrome, I wanted it to be subtle....but would still like to see a pic before I drill out any holes....Thanks in advance.

IF you have the FORD Bullitt door there is NO drilling required.
Using a torx head driver you remove the bolts that hold the stock fuel door on. Then you just install the Bullitt door using the same holes and hardware. You will need to go to the hardware store and get one longer bolt and some small nylon washers that you will use as spacers. The Bullitt door install takes less then 10 minutes tops. The brushed aluminum door looks good with any color L in my opinion. It accents / goes great with the stock silver color wheels. IF you are into bling bling then you can polish up that door easily. Anyway, only takes a minute to do the install or hang it temporarily to see how you like it. NO DRILLING necessary! By the way, I have one on my '03 Dark Shadow Gray L and get compliments all the time on it. The Bullitt fuel door was my first mod.

If you'll click on the "www" bar at the bottom of this post, it will take you to my gallery, where there are several pictures of my Silver L, with the Bullit fuel door. Once there, go to the subheading "exterior" to view the pics. One of these days, I'll learn how to post the damn pics. Hope this helps at least a little.

Later,
Rob
