Well being the fact I was born in New York, it would seem I would root for the Yanks,
BUT, I have also lived in Phoenix for 14 years now, and, well, gotta root for the home team!
I think the D-Backs are doing an awesome job for such a young team!
Go D-Backs!

Wait a minute--haven't the 'snakes' outscored the yankees about 16 to 5(may be 1 or 2 off but you get the idea.) Don't think those two pitchers are " the whole team" by a longshot. And don't ya think andy looks like a girl?

Ill be the first to admit yanks arent playing they are sleeping and not scoring runs. But what kind of message does that send to your team when the yankees only won one game you are still up a game and instead of going with a normal rotation you go back with your ace when he hasnt had his full rest. I think thats a big mental blow to the d'backs its saying we arent good enough and have to rely on one guy for us to win.

My prediction...

No visitor will win a game (sorry Yankees).

NY tonight, Johnson in game 6, Schilling in game 7 and if the Manager tries to pull Schilling in game 7, a fistfight will break out on the mound (I'll take Schilling).

I was actually born and raised in Arizona but being there were no baseball teams in Arizona (outside of the Astros' farm team) when I was a youth led me to become a Yankees fan in the mid-70's (my old man is a Dodgers fan and being that it was usually the Dodgers and Yankees in the series back in the 70's I became a Yankees fan). It's good to see the Diamondbacks do well but I fear that it may be a case of the "Marlins firesale" in the next year or two since Colangelo is losing money faster than he can print it. I can't say I'll be sad to see the D'Backs lose and it couldn't happen to a nicer owner (the very same guy who got greedy and jacked ticket prices by 25% the year after the team LOST 97 games - and he wonders why he can't sell any season tickets). His Suns have done nothing and won't in the forseeable future and his baseball team seems destined to head down that same primrose path to nowhere - Go Yanks!!!

tied it up again in the 9th. This is a good series. I do feel sorry for Kim, he's got to be pretty down right about now.

Yeah that is a tough blow for a pitcher.....especially two night in a row....

Yankees offense is killing them. Someone needs to come up big here.....

What Yanks offense? 7 runs in 5 games.

I'll tell ya those little league depth outfield fences to right and left have played to their favor, 314 to right? 318 to left?

This........is...........REDICULOUS!!!!
Gotta hand it to the Yanks though, they never give up. Must respect that mentality.

I'm still taking the D-Backs at home with the Unit and the Schillmiester!

i'm tired of seeing the yanks win but it sure does make life much better at my house. g/f/ is big yanks fan. if nothing else though ya gotta admit it's a pretty good series. i love to watch teams come from behind. would be nice to see more action through out the games though.

Unfortunately, the D-backs are doing their LA Dodgers impression of the cheap chair. The're folding under pressure.
