Post 2002 Lightning A-Plan & Dealer Invoice Prices ---->

Here ya go. Thanks to F150Bill for making this happen. Remember, add 4% to "Dealer Price" to get X-Plan cost. Also, add in the destination charge AND the tonneau cover (if you get one as most come w/ them now) before you add 4%.

What's the A Plan price? As I understand it, it's invoice minus 4%. Is that dealer cost minus 4% or dealer w/ holdback minus 4%? Not that I'm likely to find a dealer willing to accept A Plan this early though... (And I am looking to buy the '02 Harley Davidson. )

Go there, it's $40 and anyone can get it (2 a year).

There is no way to figure up A-Plan by taking percents from invoice. The A-Plan price is what I just gave you all above. It's listed as "Dealer Price" (which is the same thing).

If you want the '02 Harley Davidson I'm not going to be able to help you there. I seriously doubt Dealer Pricing (same as A-Plan) has been totally released publicly for it yet.

And to answer your 2nd question, as I said before:

Remember, add 4% to "Dealer Price" to get X-Plan cost. Also, add in the destination charge AND the tonneau cover (if you get one as most come w/ them now) before you add 4%.

Man, this forum is great!!!! I had no idea this could be done.

I just purchased a new 2002 Screw at dealer invoice and thought I did great. How far below dealer invoice is the xplan? Can I go back to my dealer after receiving a pin and pick up the xplan price at delivery?

Have you already signed the paperwork for buying the truck? If not go back to the dealer or call them, tell them you have an X-Plan pin # (hurry, get it from EAA before Dec. 1, 2001 or you'll have to be a member of EAA for a year in order to qualify to get one). I'd ask for the internet salesman. If they aren't willing to do it call another dealer. They'll tell you right over the phone if they will do X-Plan or not. I have 3 dealers in my area that will.

How far below dealer invoice is the xplan?
Do the math, as it's on the .gif file I gave you all above. Here:

Dealer Invoice: $29107 w/ optional soft tonneau cover (I recommend getting this option as it's worth it for the small fee)

X-Plan: $28,916 w/ option soft tonneau cover

Difference of $191. Hey, that buys 3/4's of a Diablo Chip.

BFB,

Thanks so much for your advice. Can't tell you how much I appreciate people like you who help others. Everyone on this forum has been awesome. I haven't signed the paperwork yet but may just go ahead and sign on EAA. We are looking at purchasing another vehicle in the near future. As for the screw, I'll call and ask if I qualify still. The $192 in savings isn't bad. Considereing it costs $40 to qualify for it.

Sounds like you really like your soft Tonneau cover. Is this a ford aftermarket item. Is it the type with all the buttons? I was contemplating adding this option but was told the buttons are a pain. How much was this option? Again, thanks so much. You're the greatest!!!

It's listed on that file I included in my first post. Just click on it to view it. There are 3 different prices for all the plans.

No, it's not the buttons kind. It uses sturdy plastic all the way around that slips under the frames for the tonneau. It's very secure and doesn't leak much at all (even through car washes). Easy to get on/Easy to get off.

Talking BfB--Your Welcome

I had to join this site to tell you that. I guess I'll hunt around here also. I'll also give members here the same deal as NLOC. Free X-Plan's.

Let me know if interested.

You'd be surprised. I will take my through an all cloth carwash, but NEVER anything else. Foam bristles really can swirl you up. Low speed cloth washes kick ***. I'm talking about professional ones not the bobo ones you pay 7 bucks for for putting in more than 5 gallons.
