That's getting a little ****, Doug.

Anyone who wants to break into a Lightning already knows how to get in. It's not like it's a big secret.

In another life I owned a towing company. We opened a LOT of vehicles for the police. Yes, a Slim Jim (or a 24" piece of wide spring metal shipping strap with notches cut in the end) between the glass and lower gasket is best. Anyone who wants to steal cars learned the trick at 12 years old in Auto Theft 101.

I left my father off at the airport on a BUSY morning. Couldn't get near the curb. We jumped out in traffic to get his bags out of the back and one of us hit the lock switch by accident. Damn, blocking traffic and the engine is running. Cop comes running over yelling into his radio. In seconds another cop rides up on a bicycle and pulls a Slim Jim out of his backpack, slips it in next to the passenger window to pop the lock, reaches in and unlocks both doors then rides off. The whole thing takes less than 30 seconds! The first cop has me pull it over and starts writing. Thankfully it's only a release of damages and says that it happens all day long. No charge. Thanks guys.

Thumbs down

Jeez I posted trying to help the guy out...I think he already knew how he just didn't want to break anything.

If somebody wants to break in they were already inclined to do so whether something's posted or not.

In my opinion there is no sense in teaching the few idiots that dont know the tricks how... This Forum is NOT the place for it

Call it **** or what ever you like.

DB - You helped a member in need... He got the help he needed.... Then I removed the thread. The forum worked great, but I kept the LS1 guys and the RT guys from learning any secrets..

I just DONT agree that that info should be listed here forever...

I am learning why Steve just deletes threads and closes them without explanation....

Doug

I apologize that I got a bit bent out of shape earlier, I understand why you did it.
