one fast truck

can anybody give me some suggestions on what I can do to make my lighting faster, I have done blower pulleys, superchip, new exhaust, and a k&n air filter. I wanted to stay away from the nitrous but I was thinking about a mass air flow sensor or something. I just want a truck that will put it on anything it coes across on the road.

I would do a Johnny Lightning 5lb lower w/ a 90mm MAF and a chip programmed for it...if you don't have one. Other than that, an electric fan, Cobra R waterpump, throttle body all add up to some more hp. Hope this helps.

Check it out on http://www.johnnylightningperf.com

hooking up

I also have a problem with hooking up off the line. sometimes it is okay and sometimes I spin sideways. it is frustrating. When everything goes well, I can run pretty well 8.2s 1/8th. I even beat my buddies 2001 s281 saleen mustang. but the, just last night, I got killed by a new trans am ram air. any tips on how not to spin?

First off what year is the L, and how old of a program is your supperchip, and is it the drop in K&N?

If it is a older superchip program, I would talk to Jim@JDM he has some awesome superchip programs for the L's.

A line mod or shift kit will help the shifting, that mod helped my E/T's a little. A electric fan and Cobra water pump will free up a few HP. There are 3 different traction bars available, and soon to be one or two more.

If you have a 99 or 2000 a 90 mm Mass air and 373 gears will help a bunch.

And on the track a set of slicks, and a torque converter will really lower your E/T's

8.2 in the 1/8 mile is doing pritty good, whats the MPH?
I am running 7.974@88.14mph in the 1/8 on stock tires

here is JDM's Website
http://www.teamjdm.com/

he has got my truck flying, and there isn't much that can beet me

Good luck with the links Silver-Bolt and 99svtlightning posted and the JDM link you will be all set. Any of them will get your truck woopin the A$$ of allmost anything on the road.
