About 4-6 hweeks ago i call ford and found out my truck is part of the recall. They take down my information and tell me the dealer i picked will be calling me within 5 DAYS to make an appointment. Well for the past 2 weeks i have been calling my dealer that i chose and they say there is no recall, the items have not come in etc. (more excuses). So today i called and the writer tells me that i have to take my truck to a svt dealer for it to get fixed. Well I was furious. I cussed the guy out right on the phone. Azz hole. Well what i need is information on when i take it to the SVT dealer can i take it right in or do i have to call ford again, i have heard both from the lightning community. Thanks

 

Call SVT, they will supposedly send them to the dealer of your choice, or so they said. I talked to them a month ago, parts were supposed to be mailed in three days. Called my dealer a week later-no parts. Called SVT back, was told they are on back order. This I dont understand because some on the board seem to be getting their parts immediately.

Yeah, let me join the club. Talked to SVT 5 weeks or so ago. Oh yes, we will notify the Dealer (an svt dealer) in Dallas and they will get the parts. They will contact you within 5 business days blah blah blah. Almost 6 weeks later and no contact. I'm out of town now and will try to stir this thing up next week when I get back to town. Just wanted you to know you aren't alone.
