Anyone actually received their intercooler letter?

I was waiting on the official letter from Ford before proceeding with my intercooler repair. I have a 2000L with 14k miles on it and *knocking on wood* it has not leaked yet. Anyone actually get their letter? I thought they were supposed to go out on September 30th.

I work at a dealer and have done 10 to 15 intercooler replacements since the notice came out. No one has had a letter yet. The dealer can replace it without the letter because it will show up on OASIS. Depending on the dealer it might be hard to get done if it's not leaking though.

Took my '99 in today after waiting for months for the "letter". Told them I thought there was a recall, they checked and no problem IC being replaced at this moment. No muss no fuss! Let's see if Gomer gets it right the first time.

no letter

i just called ford and had my parts sent to the dealership, and after they used my parts on another truck, had to call again to get my parts shipped. Made appointment today to go in on the 13th. They are calling it the manifold replacement program 01b81, which calls for part # xrl3z9a24ab.......which is a new manifold.....which i guess is the intercooler/manifold assembly???

Mine went at 9000 miles - no letter needed. I did get the one for the wiper motor, though. But I haven't bothered with that one - I've used the wipers maybe ten times.

Have a 2000, no leak, but on the replacement list. Unfortunately I dont seem to be able to get them to get the parts this far north.
Sounds like some of you are getting them right away. I have been told mine are on backorder. What the?

I just called SVT about shipping the parts for the intercooler. He said that the letters were going out in the next few days. Notified the dealer to look out for the parts, he says it should take about 1.5 hrs to swap out. Number was 1-800-248-0186.
