Lightning Side Skirts!

I was wondering how much do they cost? Has anyone ever gotten into an accident and got theirs replaced? Hom much did you pay? Thanks.

There's a company that makes the Lightning kit. It's www.wingswest.com

Or, call Gary at www.fordpartsonline.com
He would be able to price original equipment for you.

Hey guys, ShowYa here in Kansas City. I have a 1999 F 150 Lariat and just recently installed the L skirts (ground effects) on my truck and other than having to modify since I had wheel lips and mud flaps. I now have styleside wheel lips and no MUD FLAPS. I just notched the wheel lips, not the skirts to match up and must admit I have guys ask me now why I added wheel lips to my truck when they actually think it is a Lightning. I am a Ford Motor Company employee and have about $400 in parts and not counting the $30 in wheel lips I got from salvage yard to modify for this project. I will get some pictures online soon once I figure out to post them!

Thanks guys. Wow wings west wants 395 for the bumper while fordpartsonline only wants 254. Big difference. I have a 1998 so this conversion is going to take me a while. I will mount the bumper cover on top of my 1998 front bumper cover then get the side skirts. My truck right now is a black flareside shortbed single cab. It will look just like the lightning soon. Thanks guys. Anyone else know?

Mine is a 1998. You know the one before the change. But I think that I can still make it fit. I will buy one thing at a time. First its the bumper cover, side skirts, exhaust, rims, decals, etc. I wish I can just get the lightning but you guys know that the insurance is a killer. It was 2500 a year on my 1996 GT.
