Bilstein Shocks

Are the shocks the only differance to the suspension from 2000-2001?
Has anybody changed from the 2000 shocks to the 2001 on a 99/00L?
If so was it worth it? What was the differance?

Also does the 2001 ride better?

Thanks

hilander,

With a set of drop shackles and the Bilsteins, my 01 handles better and is MUCH smoother than my former 99 with shackles and the OEM fitment.

(read: Night and Day)

reasonably priced too.

The shocks are covered by your Ford warranty. I had a bad rear Bilstein replaced.
