New Best
I made a trip to the 1/4 mile track last night (2.5 - 3 hours) to take advantage of the cool weather and try out a new goodie. The temp started in the upper 50s and went down to the mid 40s, humidity was about 60%, and baro was around 30.05. I was able to make 7 passes with the last 3 being almost identical. I was very pleased with the results. This pass was made on my street program using 93 octane as I drive it on the street, with the exception of ET Streets and removed tailgate. I will not bore anyone with all pass info, just the best:
R/T: ???
60 ft: 1.77
1/8 et: 8.02
1/8 mph: 87.53
1/4 et: 12.52
1/4 mph: 109.??
The question marks are there b/c they were having problems with their computers. It was not giving reaction times nor the tenths/hundreths on the 1/4 et mph
. So this could be 109.99 or 109.00... Also, I want to note that my truck was sputtering at about 4000-4500 rpm in first on every pass.
Kind of like hitting a rev limiter (if anyone has any ideas, please chime in). I am not real sure what this problem is, but I do know I have at least a 12.3-12.4 at a faster mph once this is resolved, as it was falling on it's face.
I want to publicly thank Jim@JDM for my new reburn that kicks a s s and JL for the new pulley. My previous best was 12.77 @ 106.38 before the pulley in 60 degree weather.
