I've had red(93) and black(01) and tho' black takes only a little more work than red if you want it to look top notch, both colors require a lot of work. I'm EXTREMELY **** about mine (black)and I spend as much time cleaning it as I did my red one. But the black is definitely sinister looking. I think we all liked fire trucks as kids so maybe red brings back memories?!? Silver is more sublte but still nice and I'm sure less trouble. I would still be out there daily. Now white I like but they didn't have one on the lot and I just had red so black won. It really doesn't matter anyway. All people are gonna see most of the time is a blur or just the tailgate.
