who has moved their cd changer to under the jumper seat?
how was it done? did you just extend the wiring?
the stereo store was concerned that the cd changer possibly has 'restistance' wiring (i.e.. if they extended the wires, there would be more resistance detected and it wouldnt work)
any advice appreciated!

There is plenty of wire. You're moving it to a location closer to the head unit. Just bring the wire up through the carpet under the seat.
I mounted mine under the front/left edge of the pass. seat with small L brackets. Works great and is easy to get to while driving.
Hope that helps.

No need to extend the wires. All you have to do is free the wire up from the passenger side rear speaker. Run the wire under the seat, out the hole in the carpet where the jack bracket comes out. Then put two stripes of velcro on the bottom of the CD changer and plug it in. I would say it takes no longer then 15 minutes to do. It is really easy, the only thing you need to buy is some velcro. I have had mine under the middle seat for a year and it has not moved. It does skip a little bit more being on the floor.
thanks guys!
you pull through again!
last i looked, i saw the changer wires come from what i thought was the main wiring harness. that's why i figured it had to be extended.
i'll look at this closer.
thanks!
