Need shop in Mass or NH to install front springs

My new 0ne inch lowering springs came in today, but nobody will install them for me.

If anyone has, or knows a shop in Mass or S New Hampshire let me know.

Thanks
Don

Hey that's great to know, I was about to post the same question. I am from Saugus. What spring set did you buy? I am thinking about the BelTech shackles, front springs, shocks and struts. Any other suggestions?

Thumbs up

IF YOU WANT TO KEEP GOOD RIDE QUALITY AND SAVE SOME MONEY GET BELLTECH 2" SHACKLES AND EIBACH OR HOTCHKIS SPRINGS THIS WILL ALLOW YOU BETTER HANDLING GOOD LAUNCHES AT THE TRACK BUT NOT HURT THE RIDE TO THE POINT WHERE YOUR BOUNCING UP AND DOWN EVERY BUMP YOU HIT ESPECIALLY HERE IN MASS. YOU PROBBABLY WILL WANT TO GET THE ALIGNMENT KIT FROM EIBACH NOMATTER WHAT YOU GO WITH ANY WAY.

Thanks John I will call him

I have the BellTech rear shackles on now, and my New front springs are the Hotchkis 1 inch lowering springs.

With any luck I will have the fronts on tomorow, cross your fingers.

Cool,
I'll hop in my truck and drive down to Florida. Make sure you chill up a few Brewski's for me. The problem I live in a appt building, and I don't think they would like me doing springs in the garage.

JohnnySVY I called your guy, he can't do it, but I found a place to do the install in the morning. Then off to the allignment shop( I got the Nappa allignment bolts) So I will be all ready for the track.

Here is a pic of where I park

You might be a redneck if you drop the tranny out of your Mustang, swap spings on you Cobra, change out the exhaust multiple times, install a lift kit on your Dodge Ram, build a complete competion stereo, etc. etc. all in the parking lot of you apartment complex.

Uhh, wait a minute...LOL

HEHE I haven't done any of that, but I did put my electric fan, stereo, change plugs, did my ram air, and a few other things down there. I think they might draw the line at the springs.

Hey maybee I am a northern redneck

xbigjoe
I'll let you know how things go and driving impressions this weekend.

Well I got the springs installed today, got the front rake back that I wanted. The springs are just a little stiffer, the ride is about the same. There isn't as much body roll and the nose doesn't dive as much when braking.

The only problem one of the cam bolt kits I got was defective, so had to put one of the four factory bolts back in. Napa is getting me a new kit on monday so I have to go back and get the castor on the left wheel re adjusted. The guy at the allignment shop got it fairly close so I should be ok for a few days.

I will post some pics tomorow on my 1-2 drop.

Well I am off to the track, wish me luck.

Here is a pic of the one inch Hotchkis front springs with the 2 inch Belltech rear shackles. I am real happy with the way it drives, it even felt more stable at the track. I don't know if the truck being lowered helped or not but I ran 4 passes all over 108 mph.
