Hey all, the Commerce meet is still on for Friday, October 26. We are meeting at the track around 7pm. There is going to be some good cool air here Friday, so there should be some great runs. Show up if you can.

 

I'm going to be there with my Mustang. '88 GT, light gray, white ragtop, welds.

 

Wish I could go to make a few passes and see what she runs. If my plans fall through I'll see ya there.

 

Come on down-over-up to the Silver Dollar Raceway(1/4 mile) one mile west of Reynolds, Ga., just off of H'wy 96, if you're too far away from Commerce. Good track and facilities--staging lanes slant downhill so you can keep your L 'off' until just before lining up. Track opens at 5pm, first pass at 6pm, run until 10pm(11pm, if 100 or more vehicles show up). $20 if you race--as many times as you can line up or $5 to watch. Nice people, cool weather(40-50s expected), test-n-tune, street, bike, and pro classes, 100-110 octane gas available, certified(?) weight scale at tech, NHRA, are all there. They have a web site.

Btw, Johnny Lightning and Sue drove down here last spring and ran some low 12s.
