How wide is the 'shelf' behind the seats of the lightning?

 

i think it is about 6 inches. don't hold me to that. it is raining right now or i would go measure for you. hope you get a better estimate.

When I was at Car Toys the dude put a 8" sub on that little shelf and it fit, but a 9" hung just a hair over.

 

The bottom of my sub boxs are 10.05" front-to-back and they are about even with the front edge. I say "about even" because the edge of the shelf is rounded and covered in 1/3" of carpet and padding, so it is a bit hard to define.

 

You can get 4-10lb bottles of nitrous back there with all 4 hooked up to one block feeding one main line and a pressure gauge. May not sound as good as the "woofers" but this thing ROCKS!
