pulled up along side a black Gen1 with my black bbqmobile, and gave him the thumbs-up and the obligatory "holy". this guy gives me the thumbs-up and says "nice truck" (??). a "shmoly" sure would have been sweet , but it was not to be. so all you G2 guys (except silver) get the word out to your color coordinated G1 ancestors, THE ANSWER IS SHMOLY!!

Not to change the subject, but-
nominate your best commercial of all time.
I say its the "herding cats" commercial, followed closely by the "Japanese guy is flattened by the tree" for FSN.

 

My fav commercial is a BMW one from about 6 or 7 years ago. Lightning (not the truck) hits a tree and a huge branch falls on an older BMW. Flattens the roof. They show the car giving up the ghost and it floats back to the factory and enters a new BMW as they start if up for the first time. Then the car rolls out of the factory. Pretty cool. Would've made a good Corvette commercial.

 

the chasing squirrels thing was from a Simpsons episode where Homer has to go back to college to get a degree for work..

i like the cat herder and the tree catching commercials too!

i also like the car commercial where they are throwing stuff up at a tree... i thought jared from the subway commercials was gonna fall out. LOL *whump* but, alas.. it was some sort of import.
