Sal, the truck definitely unloaded after launch. It appeared that the truck lifted a lot, then lost traction. BlackBolt99 saw daylight? Did any one else?. The picture is so small I can't really tell.
That may just be the result of the rubber snubber bouncing off of the spring.
Was the NOS activated on launch?
Maybe we have to soften the launch to go quicker until there is more tire available? It's alos possible that the shocks need to be worked on. It appears that maybe the need to be stiffened on rebound.

In the newest issue of MM&FF (just got in mail) they installed 2 new shocks in the back to help with the rear tire "unload". I guess it realy worked, they installed some Pauls High Performance custom shocks & shackles. The shocks installed are acutally stiffer, so they dont rebound. The shackels also change the pinon angle of the shocks so they remain in correct alignment through the whole process.
I've got CE drag shocks all the way around, and honestly I didn't see much improvement. I've also got the 2" drop shackels, and it does help the pinion angle, although I did it to level the truck out. There is one thing different on the 01s that I have been very suspicious of affecting my 60fts, and that's the urethane axle snubbers. They are way stiffer and sit much lower than the rubber ones on the 99-00s. I could see they were definately hitting the axle, and I'm wondering if they are boucning the rear on launch. I have removed them, so we'll see if that makes a difference.
