New Kid on the Block
Just stopped in to say hello. I picked up my new 01 Red Lightning last friday and there is only one word that describes it, AWESOME! Wish I had bought one years ago.
I tried today to order an Airaid Cold Air Induction System, but Airaid is telling me that they don't yet make one for the 01 Lightning. They said the 01 has a larger Mass Flow Sensor than the 2000 and it would be next summer before they produce one. Is there another manufacture I can go through to obtain one?
Also, I have read that the Lightnings have their own unique S/N. Can someone tell where I would find it for my truck? Is it a part of the Vin#?
Thanks,

Start with these and there are plenty more, just take your time and make some good choices. It is going to take up to 6k miles before your new L is actually broke in, after that you will notice a difference in power. I sugest keeping thing close to stock for a few weeks just in case you have to go to the dealer for some little things. Hey glad to have ya on the pages.
