Just bought 2001 Red Lightning
Just traded in my 95 Cobra for a 01 Red L. Had it a week tomorrow. 310 miles on it now. Looking for harder shifts and more bottom end. Thinking about JL chip and ram air kit What kind of increases can i expect? Thanks in advance By the way...smoked a new Bullitt Stang on the way home from dealership. 
Was going to buy new Cobra...but since i got the L on the X-Plan...i couldnt pass it up...$27,800.

I get sick of the hype of those bullit stangs, if i'm not mistaken they dont even have 280hp. This dude in town where I live got one a few months back and just thought he could blow the doors off me. Well 100+mph later he was putting his doors back on his bullit stang. I felt like saying sorry buddy just because some of your interior and your gas lid is billet doesnt make it any faster.:o

Sticker price was $32,610 with bed cover. A-Plan or X-plan was $27.800 . Thats what was on the invoice....Dont know if it was because I use to work there or what. Tried to deal with another deatlership but could only get them down to $29,450. Turnpike Ford had 3. One Red and two Black 01's. Got the Red one cause i swore i would never own another black vehicle.
