its the new and improved version and faster version, not that it needed to be any faster!

DreaminAboutL: Have you heard about the Halltech T-1 intake for the '02 Z06? It's a new synthetic filter. Last week, there was a post about someone running an 11.87 @ 118mph!!! I don't think it was backed up, though. But if I can get in the 11s on a filter only, then I'll definitely be getting one before years end......

The 1/4 on the VW? Well, lets see, at 49 mpg I calculate that its about 2/3 oz. of #2 Diesel.

 

It doesn't matter if he's a Ford or Chevy man, he's got two American legends in his driveway...a matching pair, at that.

The stock L's top speed is about 142 mph.
The stock Z06's top speed is about 171 mph.

The Z06 is faster.

A friend of mine owns a Chev dealership. In fact I've bought my last 5 cars and trucks there. he was a little disappointed when I rolled up to his showroom in the new L. I flipped him the keys, he took it for a spin and was an instant convert. He even made several remarks concerning the current state of 'performance' trucks from the Bowtie division.

Now he's got an unsold 2002 Electron Blue (new color for '02) Z06 heading his way in about 3 weeks. He's called 4 times just to let me know how nice it would look in my garage parked next to the L. Please stop calling... please! Do the math:

2001 L + 2002 Z06 x New Garage = Real Ugly *******ing Divorce.
