Call a Ford dealer (might want to consider an authorized SVT dealer for this one) and give them your VIN. They should be very familiar with the recall by now, and will order the parts on your behalf. I know someone with a '99 and that's what he did.

In 99 and 00 models, there was a problem with a leaky intercooler. I didn't know what to look for when I first got my Lightning, either. Just look at the intercooler's coolant tank and check if coolant level drops at all in a matter days. I think there's a recall for it so you should be able to take it back to a Ford place and get it replaced. I've heard people noticing more power with the new intercooler so even if it isn't leaking, I'd still take it in.

Take a Sharpie pen and mark the level on the I/C tank. Keep on eye on it. Call Ford and schedule your re-call fix.

Dave I wouldn't even wait for it to go bad, The new 01 IC has many more benefits from it. I can seriously tell a differencein the power from my old one to my new one. Just call and ge it swapped out now!
