Got the new in the crate 01 motor installed today. Motor has a blown headgasket or a cracked head. #4 plug is full of antifreeze. Called Ford to let them know. They say no surprize, And they have had a problem with 30% of there motors. Pulling the motor back out Monday. Only 5 min. of runtime on the motor. Never took it out of gear. Talk about more bad luck.

I will still show up, I might bring one of the mustangs up. This truck is going to have 3 motors in 2 1/2 months. I was so pumped to drive the truck agian, Now I just feel sick!

 

Jeff, sorry to hear about the new motor.If it makes you feel any better my truck is still not running quite right and this has been since mid july.Maybe for all your hassles they will let you have this motor as well and the rest of us can call you to get parts when things break.We would probably get better service.See you at the track.

My 99 motor is sitting here. Not sure if they will let keep this motor too. I dought it. Will hear at 7.30am monday on what ford is doing. They were very nice on the phone.

 

What a let down. Hope they make it right.
