How long does it take to start your L?
My 2000 does occasionally take a couple seconds to start. As someone mentioned before, it's usually after I've been driving it for a while and go to restart it. Some mornings when it's really cold ( 30-40 degrees) it does the same thing.
LIGHTNINROD:
I don't know if it will help the slow start by turning the key to the on position for a couple of seconds prior to starting, but I am open to any suggestions to help my baby start easier.
What is the "WHIRRRR" sound we hear after putting the key in the ignition prior to going to start position on the L? I always assumed it was the fuel pumps priming the system.
I always heard this same noise from the Cobra, and assumed it was the fuel pumps priming the system. I really don't know why my L does not like to fire like the Cobra or my F-350 5.4 work truck.
