Question Svtoaontrack?

Anyone been to one of these? I need to know if its worth driving 3-3.5 hours (each way) to attend. If it is alot of fun I don't mind the drive. If its just ok...I could back out. It starts at 7:00 AM....I would have to leave my house at 4:00!

Thanks, Jerry

Very Much Worth it

I'm driving 5 hours each way. I'll be leaving San Antonio Friday evening if you want to caravan.

Jerry

Last year was at the Motorsports Ranch in cresson. The sessions wereonly half day each and it was the best road course time I could get with my truck. The ONLY down side was the slow *** Mustangs and Contours we were running with. I am hopefull that when they see my BFGoodrich R1A autocross tires they will put me in a run group that doesnt include any Sunday drivers....

We wont know for sure what to expect till we get there BUT the sessions are all day this year and there is supposed to be an autocross session, and a session on the TMS roadcourse. Last year I also had fun beating on the SVT contour they had there for show and tell.

The SVTOATEXAS.com site has more details....

We had a great weekend up here at the SVTOA Toronto Chapter in Cayuga. Road course with driving instruction and exercises as well as a drag strip.

Weather was questionable with wind chills below freezing, but it was sunny. Highly recommended.
