Snow tire question? will a 31" tire be ok?

i am thinking of ordering the JDM 15x10 wheels to put drag slicks on, i was going to get winter tires and figure i'll run em on this rim,

bridgestone makes a blizzak tire which is supposed to be the best snow tire available.

the only one they have that will fit this wide of a rim is a 31x10.5x15

will the clearence be ok?

i know there is about 35 inches or so of clearence, but i don't know how much travel the rear end has

Beefcake-

I use Nitto 305 50 r18's... They are 31.21 (or something like that) and have no clearance problems at all!

I would bet the snow tires will be fine.

Post ditto

I've got the same tire. its a little over 31 in tall. I also have a 1.5in drop shackle in the back. I've rubbed the tires in the wheelwell a couple of times, but only when i unexpectedly encountered a 10mph dip at 5 times that speed.

I also have noticed that on full wheel lock, the tire rubs slightly on the front sway bar. But that too is a rare occurrance.
