Thumbs up Saw your runs! Nice job!

I was also there in the Silver '01... got to meet a bunch of people on the boards.

Ran my best last night...but didn't get props from the track announcer!!! The announcer stated for 415cid Goose "Well thats the fastest Lightning here tonight! A 12.88" ... I guess he turned his head to my 12.75 @ 107.5 What a great launch I got too! Turned a 1.86 60' on my factory F1's with 30lbs in each!

Time to call JL soon - speed is like a drug - the more you get, the more you want!

Congrats. on the times. Thats awesome already in the 12's. Don't you just hate it, having to go so fast in such a small amount of time!

Thumbs up You rule JL!

Thanx for all the help for the mid 12s, John!!

I've still got the older '01 program, and remember you saying something about sending it back once I got the 3# pulley...

I hear you've got a new program for the '01 If I FedEx it to ya beginning of next week, you think I could see it back before next Friday?

...I tell ya, last night at the track was killer! My last run, the 12.75, was such a sweet feeling! Little burnout, held it at 1100 rpms, last light turned and floored it - quick little chirp, the back end dropped and i was off like bullet! I remember passing the finish line and seeing a 99 or 00 T/A way back in my rear view - hehe!

Lightning Al - Everything can be bolted on and off for dealer trips And the chip can be popped out, and the ECU reset (it will still show a code, but if the dealer isn't looking for it, they wont EVER know )

Under $1k and you're in the 12's with gooddriving and track conditions!

Thanks Johnny Lightning:

On my 1,000th post, I made it in to the '12s'. JL's mods and 'help'(over the phone) made it possible.

r/t....................... .777(decent poker hand-sorry r/t)
60'.................... 1.882*
1/8.................... 8.251
mph................. 84.930
1/4................... 12.882*(the time slip pic is on my earlier post)
mph................106.180

I finally got a good, long(5 secs.) burnout and 58 degree weather togeather on the same nite. Jay Lincoln's Truk-Tracks also helped plant the rear end.

Johnny, keep on testifyin' and runnin' those low 12s and high 11s.

Dan

ps: Yes, lightningal, you can feel 'it' more than quite a bit--it's the difference between night & day!

Talking Awesome!

Sweet, Lightninrod! Wasn't seeing those #'s the best feeling? Pulling away from the guy who gave me my 12.75 time slip I let out a huge "WOO HOO!" - made him turn around, like "WTF?"

LightningAl - ditto to Lightninrod's post. You'll notice a HUGE difference, especially with just a chip and filter... I know I did.
