What the hell?...

I picked up my L a week ago today. Since then I've only filled up the gas once and still working on that tank. I've been driving it easy. Checking everything out, seeing what the MPG is going to look like. I've never went WOT or anything. Today I had to drop some mail off (They had already picked up at the office). When leaving the blue box on the side of road, a ?(didn't notice) car, top down came up and looked like he would pass. Now note the stop sign is another 60' from me. So I wait, then he stops, looks like hes going to go, stops again. So forget this, and (forgetting I'm not in my 4banger Ranger) floor it WHAT THE HELL!!! I'd never seen 60' foot disappear like that. Next thing I know I'm on the brake before sticking my nose out too far. Is this what happens when you push the gas! WOW!! So I'm waiting for the left hand traffic to clear (divided hwy) and slowly roll to the median to wait on the Right hand traffic. Now I only have to go straight across into a turning lane and there comes a gap. Lets see if I can move that fast again... WTF It just spun!! I had to let off to get out of the way (Don't worry the traffice wasn't bad). Yeah, slow down. Apparently I've only scratched the surface of these trucks.

All I got to say is, if you don't have one of these, go get one now. As fast as whatever you got can get you there.
And another thing, how the hell am I going to be able to get go fast toys if I have to keep buying tires? Can someone answer that.
I hope this has been an incentive to anyone who hasn't bit the bullet and bought this truck. This may not be the kill story some of you post, but for me, it killed any smidgen of regret about paying these payments.

Man, I love this truck.

Oh, only 450 miles. ~1000 - 1500 I'm hope to put some mods on.

Try loading it up with all the goodies available and then take the L for a drive in the rain. I mean heavy rain. Gives you an appreciation for Formula 1 drivers!

CaptainO': The day after I met you at JDM's, the guy before me got the Big Meal Deal installed and then Shaun took him for a test drive/ shake down. He came back green and shaking. He'd never been Full Throttle before. I thought he was going to hurl!!

WHAT04 - that is hilarious

I felt WOT as soon as I pulled out of the dealership.

And yes those Formula1 drivers are without question have guts. The races I have seen them in, they should all get commended for the driving they do, especially in those monsoon down-poors.
