Pen on seat
Believe it or not, That's what I used to get a pen mark off my seat. It easily removed the mark. It desn't leave any residue so you don't have to worry about it leaving any water marks or any kind of stain. It worked great on mine.
I'm really not shure. ( thats probley the answer you were looking for uh !!!) but any way. a pen broke in my pant pocket and leaked into the left corner of my tan seat, but a after a while the stain slowly went away, i dont know if it seaped into the padding, or rubbed off onto my jeans after a period of time. Now there is no remains of the stain, and the seat is still the same stifnes as it used to be.

Edit> This is the company that makes our seat material (Alcantara). If you go to this link, click on "Maintenance", They tell you what they recommend to use on the material, for whatever type of stain that it is. They also tell you what not to use.
It's real easy, all you have to do is click your mouse on the link.

A lite amount of Goof Off, but try it in hidden area first to be sure it doesn't hurt the material you are working on! good luck BL

This may sound a little crazy, but Acetone will remove any stain from any material. I used to have a car with white leather interior. I paid a fortune for the leather, and I ended up with a black pen leaking on it. I tried everything, nothing worked. Sure enough though, a little acetone, and it wiped right up. Warning though, don't rub hard since it will make the leather start to soften.
