mrtaillight.com-everyone read!!

Went and ordered a set of clear rears for my 2000. Placed the order last night. I emailed them today to ask approximately how long before I see them......the email me back saying maybe december, but probably longer!!! I told them to cancel the order so i'm sure that battle has begun. So don't bother ordering them there

I had really good results ordering from Steve @ Mr. Taillight.com

Seemed like a good businessman. I don't think you'll have a problem.

tallimeca: Are you ordering Altezza-style taillights (clear with chrome) like the ones that come on the 2001's, or are you ordering ones that are more foggy/translucent (like the APC clear corners that were out pre-2001)?

Also, I'm guessing that your login is a play on "Metallica"...am I right?

Later...

don't get your panties in a twist everyone

Just like everyone here said, Steve from mrtaillight.com is cool. He appologized for being out of stock............not his fault really. Unfortunately, he read my 1st post , which was posted way before he replied to my request to cancel. So I will appologize to anyone who is or was offended before some huge flame war starts. Steve is good peeps. By the way, I'm looking for the Altezza style, I guess they're called, like on the 2001's.

Thanks for sticking up for me fellas!! it is great to see that kind of support. Beleive me, if i had more in stock at the time, he would have had a set by the weekend. It is hard to pass up alot of cash from a buyer willing to pay retail $ for EVERY set i had in stock. It would have been nice to spread them out a bit, but we are soon to open storefront, and the big sale came in handy.

AS all that knows me, i offered my personal help to tallimeca in any way if he needed future assistance. tallimeca, you have MY word on that.

Thanks again guys, and may God Bless!!!!

ok, now i'm confused. What are the lights on the 2001's. Are they altezza style or are they not. I'm hearing different and don't want to get the wrong ones. Any help?

Be careful about these Altezza/Ford tail lights. there is a difference!!

There are the APC China made tail lights called Altezza for these trucks. the quality is a 5 on a 10 scale. with its own design.

There are also the "Visteon" brand (which is owned by Ford) that makes the 2001 Lightning tails that is availabe. the quality is a 15 on a 10 scale. in my personal opinion, this is the ONLY light that is worth the time to install.

later......
