I posted a thread yesterday about seeing a 99-01 Lightning. Who would have thought the next day I would have been drooling over one. I got in touch with someone from my area (Usahootersef) and he told me about a swap meet happening and that he would be glad to meet me somewhere. I had posted about that I have never really seen the inside of one really good, and I was ordering a 02 in Feb. He showed up and the L was soooo fine. He let me take video of the truck, and then made my week when he told me that he would take me for a ride. We got in, and I could already tell that this was going to be the best time. He stopped completely down the road a little way and got on it. I felt like we were going 0-95 in 7 sec. Then we went a little bit further down the road, and he got on it again, this time he didn't slow down until 130mph. The L got there so quickly and it didn't even feel like we were going that fast. Then to make my month he let me drive it a good bit. Definately the best time I have ever had. He gave me ALOT of good information, things that I didn't know about, he answered alot of questions, and told me he would help me with anything that I needed when I got my L. Thanks again Usahootersef (Ivan). Can't wait until Tues.
