This ***** makes no sense. On his post on that dodge site he was bragging about how his truck was a 14.7 truck and thats heavily modded. Well a stock lightning with the motor broken in gets high 13's. This guy is just a troll F-em.

Everyone around where I live drives Rams, they think they are badasses because their exhaust is loud. I love smokin' em at the lights!!! Funny how the Triton V8 is noted for it's bottom end....add forged components and a blower and we have no bottom end. All that extra strain turning the supercharger must really bog the motor down , huh guys...tee hee!!

Our trucks have like the smallest bore and longest stroke in the work, plus a blower, haha. If that doesnt mean tq then maybe I'm stupid and a 289 is a low revving tq monster, lol. But fo real, don't our trucks have like some of the quickest 60 foot time for stock vehicals? Ive heard about people being in the 1.7s in F1s (obviously modded trucks). I just dont what to think about these idiots that i am surounded by too while I am out cruzing....ur not alone.

I'd bet money that they guy in the Lightning wasen't even trying to race. I can't believe how many people in honda's--rice burners and even in trucks see me pull into a parking lot or at the races and say " do you remember racing me" "You beet my prelude bad" and I wasen't even racing! Just a little faster than a regular take off! That is probably what this guy experienced!! Looser!!!

From what I read on another site, an Indy Ram is the same engine wise as an SST version (5.9L V-8) It just has different suspension pkg. and color...?

The Indy Ram and the SS/T are the same exact truck, minus the outside looks. The Indy was made for the one year, and it continued as the SS/T after that.
It honestly amazes me that people who own trucks that compare closer to stock Gen 1 Lightning times (Indy ram, Dakota R/T, etc..) somehow seem to thing thier trucks are in the same league as a Gen 2 Lightning. Must be some kind of Dodge owner inferiority complex thing I guess.
I spank those trucks with my close to stock 95 Lightning, so I guess that means that my 95 is as fast as my Gen 2s?

This guy answered my e-mail I sent him on Friday. He claims that
the truck must have been an 01, and that he would check the
vin # to be sure. He also stated that he has received a lot of
flack from L owners, and that he guesses the only way he can
prove himself to us is to challenge the L owner again and have it
video taped and posted here.

I had that happen to me once at the street drags. This kid came up to me and said the same thing to me. "Remember down harlem ave when I raced you and almost beat you!?!?!?!?!?!" I was like what are you talking about. "yeah I drive the black neon with the yellow stickers all over it". I just laughed and laughed and laughed.
The funny thing is that I saw this kid a couple weeks ago on 159th and I purposes stopped at a light to see if he wanted some. I don't know if the neons are that slow, but I put a good 15 cars on him by the time I hit 45mph or so. I shut it down after that and then all I saw was this black and yellow thing go past me. I thought it was the guys cutting the grass to the left of me but then I realized that it was the neons exhuast.
