Could those rotors look any smaller?

The wheels are alright, but...

My questions is how do you go about getting those front quarter panel vents. They could look pretty nasty with the right paint scheme (imo).

Any ideas? Thanks.

Later...

Exclamation concept

Fly-*** wheels on a Livin Large factory hooptie that takes a block to stop. DUH!!

I bet the 'ride' is great though

Talking

I saw a black F-150 on 'bags at the Bay Area Car Toys this weekend. He was getting some kind of system put into his bed (had a snuglid installed and two Optima yellow tops sitting by the tailgate) and had those rims on it. They look DAMN good on a black truck.

I like the idea of the vents on the side if the fender's. I think some vents on the rear end where the sidesteps would look cool too. So they could duct air to the brakes in the back. HEHEHE

I don't know about the ride being that good. Big rims and little tires are a pain to balance for some reason. Mine where crazy!

The people promoting this thing were really playing up the Shaq connection.

You know the dumbest guy in all of L.A.? It had to be the guy at the Staples Center parking lot in the riots right after the Lakers won the championship who started pounding on Shaq's Navigator with a board. Who - in any state of mind - would pound on the ride of a 6'7", 325 pound guy who works out as much as six hours a day?

Thumbs up

I think the wheels look great, and I also would love to get ahold of a set of those fenders.

Well since they are not chrome, but pollished alluminum they prob aren't as shiny as chrome but pritty close. One benifit is that the finish will never chip, and can be pollished to a deep shine anytime you want. I had billet rims on my last truck and once I found the right cleaner they were fairly easy to care for.

One reason I an considering these rims, is to reduce some unsprung weight. They should reduce the weight of each wheel from 4-5 lbs over the 2001 rims.Plus I think they look cool.

Don C is right they are not as shiny as chrome but they are shiny enough! I love my Boyd Coddington Nemesis'. I have had them on for about 3 months now without polishing, just regular weekly washings and they still look like new. Hey Don, I would go with the Timeless too! Can't wait to see some on an L or a regular F-150 for that matter.
