well everyone, the Silver L cylinder head and intercooler recall is finished except that I need to add oil and coolant and powersteering fluid and start her up. everything went together smoothly except when I was installing the passenger side idler pulley the pedestal/mounting pad broke, so I had to tear the thing back down and replace the timing chain/front cover. I love this ***** . anyway, here are two more pics, one is Bank 1 with the cyl head off, and the other is a front view while going back together, includes, new pass side (bank 1) head, new intercooler, and of course last but not least, a new front cover.

later,
chris

Wink

Your pistons are looking kind of dull. Try some Zaino's, probably need Z5. Use a clay bar to clean 'em up good first.

I disagree.Mothers Mag Polish will work better on the pistons.

you may want to reconsider having me work on your stuff after you see the oil leak thread j/k

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...threadid=53325

also, I think it is just the camera that made things look like that, it put some of the colors out wrong, if you look at the new intercooler pic, there is a bunch of green stuff that wasn't there either.

chris
