Ok, I think I've spotten the newest ricer mod - colored lights on the windshield washer nozzles.

At night I'm starting to see a lot of ricer cars with red, blue, green, etc. lights on the washer nozzles on the hood. I guess this is the newest ricer mod, looks like chinese stickers and fart pipe just won't do anymore. Has anyone else seen this yet??

 

You don't go into other forums much, do you Sal. That's old news. Believe it or not. There's F-150 owners that want them silly things. Me being, not one of them. Thank god. I voiced my opinion on them in the Appearence Products forum. The light and nozzle are one. You don't put the light on, you buy the nozzle with the lights in them. I can see you not getting out much, being under the hood all the time.LOL.

 

They're everywhere out here in SoCal

But the more colorful adornment typically means a poser car, the really fast imports I've seen out here look pretty stock.

One of my friends had some red lights on his black L....Honestly at night it looked pretty sweet with the fog ligts and stuff...looked pretty aggresive...Thing is tho, He got pulled over for having them on (in northern cali) and got a ticket...So I would check to make sure they arent illegal in your state before you decide to put em on...later

I see them all over here. Ive even seen on websites but not on any cars in person light up caps for the tire stems that when the tires spin look like just a circle of light around the rim of whatever color the cap lights up. Wonder how much HP those are good for.

They are over here by the thousands......They are so annoying with those two little colored dots. I become engulfed in a jealous rage! Hey how about those strips of fiber optic cable you run on your dash that glow different colors?

Hey, how about Turbo magazine. 99% percent of their articles are on turbocharged ricers with some dood standing with his girlfriend putting on this " I can Whoop You" face with some yellow stickers all over the place. I don't even bother buying that mag anymore except for the cute Asian pin-up girls

Actually, I think if you designed anything with lights or some other cheesy stuff, you probably would make a bunch of money. I got it! Rainbow glowing anttenaes.

Want to get even? Turn those windshield washer nozzles of yours around so they face forward. Then you can secretly squirt pedestrians, cars that won't go on a green light, and parking lot heros.

I haven't tried it on the Lightning but I assure you you'll be out looking for victims...

I've turned them around on other cars. I haven't looked at the truck but I will Saturday.

dude they are pretty cool i have some blue ones on my truck and alot of little punks in their chevys and dodges think that they can mess with me. Well when the light turns green all they see is the flashers kick on. It's really just another reason for some to think they can mess with you. Plus it looks cool

 

I installed the illuminated ford emblems on the front and rear of my truck, I haven't dyno'd it yet to see if there was any h.p. gains but the whow factor definately has gone up according to the responses I've gotten from everyone who has seen them at night.

 

Orlando, I dunno man.. I heard the illumination adds an aproximate 7-8 hp to the wheels right out the box. Good luck, post those dyno numbers when you get a chance!!
