Who is in the 11's? with no juice

I have read threads that state a few guys are in the 11's, and I know you can get there with juice, but who has been in the 11's consistantly with no juice?
I remember reading something in MM&FF about there being a "wall" when it comes to getting below 12.20, and what it takes to get below that. Maybe someone should put a L motor in a something lighter? Jason

Thumbs up

JL,
I have no doubt you will see your 11's very soon probably this weekend!

Jim,
I see you in the 11's with your new winter project and the addition of the new 4# pulley very soon also!

Matt

Hey NeedFourSpeed:

I think this thread is who got into the 11's without doing any work to the inside of the engine( Jim @ JDM, we are all waiting to hear what happened???) and no nitrous...Just bolt on Mod's.

I may have misinterpeted this thread though...

Thanks to all that answered my question without comments like the one above.
Yes I did mean no internal motor mods and just bolt on's (thanks DL)
I thought you were leaving the Lighting community for good Spiro? That is what I read about a few months ago and every single time you reply to someone, you gotta be snotty about it. Like I said, you were cool at the track when I met you, but pal, you are not the same here, and that is too bad.

Totaled, you are gonna be in the 11's soon enough, but you better get some asbestos gloves for me to handle your nuts!!

Havent met you JL, but I am sure if you get the traction you are looking for you will be well into the 11's

Have we had a side by side 11 sec run yet?? that would be sweet.. Jason

Johnny, now you can run any slicks with those 15" wheels.

No limit on tire size.

Will you still run ET Streets?

DL -

I was in Ennis and I I'm pretty sure that Jim did his elevens without internal mods. Granted, he was doing some interesting things to shave weight and spin the blower pretty hard, but, as far as I know and was told he hadn't done cams or head or pistons...just bolt-ons.

So to the best of my knowledge he was there first and is currently the only one. I saw a timeslip from Ennis and one from Houston. Houston had high temps and humidity, Ennis had a 25 mph head/crosswind.

I'm sure others will soon follow and I think its cool to look back and see what people were running last year at this time compared to now.

Perhaps we are going to start seeing the limits of the stock motor and tranny (if we haven't already). Now the fun (and funds) really begin!

If you can't confirm it, don't imply it! (no flame intended)

Everyone,

The only person I have seen with my own eyes run an 11 WITHOUT juice or internal mods is JDM at Ennis.

I spent all weekend hanging out and working with everyone at Ennis. I can confirm that he ONLY has bolt ons. Granted he may have a severely tweaked chip, but I still consider that a bolt on. As far as I know, its all the basics with some serious weight reduction.......

Note: I am not affiliated with JDM, I am just saying what Brian K saw with his own eyes......

Brian K did see Spiro make his first 11 sec run at Cecil, so I can confirm that too!!

later

I don't think we needed to know that!

I heard rumors that both JL and Sal hit 11's already, damn rumors.

JL - good luck this weekend.

NeedFourSpeed - I believe you are correct sir, Jim has done no internal mods to the engine. Now that the engine is hurtin, hopefully Jim will rebuild it better and stronger then before, then we ca see what stronger internals are capable of.

Hey ThunderStruck:

OK, Just wondering to be fair to everyone...I was searching , not implying? I can see where it might be interpeted in the same manner?
