So here I am reading through this post this morning. As I am reading I start to read posts that seem... well odd. People mentioning we only have one choice for an aftermarket blower "KB", people talking about the weak rods and acting like its new that we found out they are weak etc. So I get to the end of page 5 and read about it being an old thread. So I look at the dates of some of the posts above and see they are from 2001!!! LOL Suddenly it all makes sense.. Works blower is not out yet, people are just starting to push the limits of their trucks and break rods etc. Man what a waste of a read LOL

I want my 15 minutes back.

Why in the hell did you bring this three year old thread back to life?

Didn't Sal answer your question not more than a month ago? Ohh wait, he did!

Just asked Sal's opinion. And for him, IT IS about being the fastest...
then why does he run full wieght? Why did he put a 70 lb hood on his truck? I don't think he's soley about being the fastest

Did the same thing for about 2 minutes. I couldn't figure out why sal was going back to an eaton.

From: Colorado,
The new blower sounds good to someone like me who is a late starter and bought a used 99 with only a flip chip for a mod.

I changed my intercooler and saw the teflon coming of the rotors. It has been on my mind for some time as to what to do about it.

Rather than put money into the stock unit with worn gears exetra I would rather do the upgrade to this new unit. (Maybe)

There are lots of ways to make more power but this kit sounds like it will be bolt on magic that you can feel in the seat of your pants and be very simple.

I am currious if it will have a little more whine than the stock unit. I like the idea of seeing the local dogs and cats run for cover at WOT.

The other point is that it would allow for future mods if you wanted to go that route.

A Nitrous 50 shot is cheap but I would hate to be out having fun and run out of juice, plus there was some posts I remember about being pulled over and if nitrous was found functional on the street there could be trouble.

I am excited about the thought of another blower option for my 99 but am not interested in signing up for the first batch. Seems like there are always changes made soon there after.

But I for one am interesting and will be watching for results. I think Sal made this post to get an idea of how big a run to make for the first castings. The more you do the cheaper it is. Mass production is always more economical.

Sal, I am interested and may do something in the future. Keep up the good work and Thanks to all you R and D people behind the scenes.
