My dealer doesn't know about intercooler fix

I called my dealer 5 times for the intercooler fix and no response. They said they would call SVT, blah, blah. Called back today and they can't find anything on the computer and they haven't done any to date. This is Winner Ford in Newark, DE. I just gave them the TSB or whatever number that was posted on the board.

They want me to bring it in first and then order the parts. I want them to order the parts and then call me when they arrive. I have been here before with these issues. You take your truck to the dealer, they call you and say it doesn't need the fix, or it's not leaking and then you inconvenienced for a day or two.

Sorry, I'm just frustrated!!!

Call SVT yourself and give them your VIN. If I understand correctly, they will contact the dealer, schedule the appointment, and ship them the parts.

99svtLightning, take your 'Bolt to Bayshore Ford, Rt. 13, New Castle, DE (right off of Rt. 495). Although they are a truck dealership, they are an SVT dealership. I bought my L from them and they have given me great service! If it is in the 'puter, they will fix it! They have been able to reproduce 99% of the problems of the L when it is brought in. In fact, I am going through a lemon law case with my 'Vette and my attorney has commented on the fact that Bayshore Ford has a pretty good service reputation in the area. In fact, Winner Ford sends some of their diesel truck problems to Bayshore Ford! Service hours are 7 a.m. - 12 midnight, M-F, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat., 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sun.
