Question Is My "L" a Dud?

I was out at Fontana Raceway dragstrip again its fairly new. The weather was about 78 Degrees during the day with a lot of humidity and a slight breeze
here were my timeslips for three runs

1st run
R/T .693
60' 2.293
330 5.958
1/8 8.911
mph 83.59
1000 11.459
1/4 13.620

2nd run
R/T .859 (the guy redlighted and scared me :P)
60' 2.225
330 5.867
1/8 8.840
mph 83.09
1000 11.403
1/4 13.579
MPH 103.68

3rd run
R/T .567
60' 2.248
330 5.820
1/8 8.769
MPH 83.50
1000 11.329
1/4 13.508
MPH 103.44

Now I know these look like good times, but for the mods i have I dont think they are to par. Guys with my same setup were running 13.3 - 13.1's all day long. I did spin I know a lot on the last two runs but the first one I let up on the throttle because I was going sideways. Take a look at my mods and tell me if these times sound right. Help!

-Sam

your 60's are the problem i have the same mods as you and can cut 1.9 60's on f1`s. a with a 1.9 60 i can run 12.79-12.90 all day long eaither get some slicks or find a better hooking track

It is your 60 foot times that are the problem

Get them down to 1.8 to 1.9 and you will be in the 13.1's

If your spinning or have to let off the gas at all your times will really suffer.

Yep, it's all in the 60's. Get a set of M/T ET Streets. Get your 60's down to the 1.9 range and you will see the times you should be running.

A good rule of thumb is..A tenth gained in the 60', is usually good for 2 on the top-end.

Sam, did I see you had Truck Tracks? If so and these were the best 60's you could turn then I just wasted my money. I just this minute installed mine. I won't test them until tomorrow. On my Toyo tires and a good track I can get 2.01 to 2.05 60's. On a bad track I was getting 2.4 to 2.45 60's. I'm going to be pissed if the truck tracks can't cut both of those down by .15 to .25!

Talking

Take it from a bracket racer. YOUR 60'S SUCK. You're loosing at least .3 right there. MT ET Streets and some toutering on how to do burnout and launch. You'll improve big time.
