Everyone,

Just got back from Texas!!!

Bettina & I had a great time!!!

It was a bit chilly on saturday though...

Friday, we met up at Billy Bobs, where "Leg" had a belt buckle about 1/2 the size of his waist line. We all laughed ala Roscoe P Coltrane. Bettina ate a "Calf Fry".......I didn't kiss her goodnight..... just think mountain oyster...

Sat we spent the day and most of the night at the track. Saw JDM run a nice 11.9 in his 01. As you know, he is towing home the 01 because of a blown engine. We did alot of chip, pullies and filters on many trucks.

Sun, was pretty mild and we got to watch alot of real fast cars and some not so fast focus(Is the plural focii??).

All in all, it was a great time and sure as hell a good getaway from work.

It was great meating everyone!! Leonard & Linda, Travis, Doug, Need4Speed, Sixpipes, Thomas(Hide those small condoms), Jeremy(Who slept in the bed??), Tank, Milton and everyone else. (I know I forgot names & I apologize to those I forgot...)

If you are ever on the east coast, please let me know so that I can return the hospitality.

Glad ya'll got back safe. Was nice meeting you and Bettina. Now those "Calf Fries" taste just like chicken, sorta....

Jeremy slept with the tires he looked beat Sunday.

Sue and I had a wonderful time. I was looking at the video I took Saturday and have all the trucks that were there. We counted 33 Lightning that were parked in the area Jim had roped off.

Just to give everybody some idea how things turned out here in Houston for Jim and crew arrival. We had a total of 21 Lightnings show up at my home for 3 days of tuning and adding parts and 24 that showed for the HOOTERS HALO get together Tuesday evening. That is the biggest turn out we ever had for BURGERr&FRIES.

I have 35MM shots of Jim's 11.9 run at Ennis also and will send copies to JDM.

Glad you made it home safely. FWIW, Jermey/Skater-Boy/Clooney Haircut, slept on the floor with the ET Streets I had a great time this whole last week. Big thanks to everyone!! TTYL!!!!!!!

 

Thanks Brain for your help; I enjoyed my short time with everyone in Enns. I wish my wife was as understanding as Bettina with the fast car thing. Glad you had some testes while you were in Texas. They are not bad but I'd rather shell my nuts than castrate and fry 'em.

Next time I'm in DC I'll give you a call. Anybody that bleeds while working on my truck is ok with me!
