Help: Anyone with '01 fogs on a '99-00

I did a serch and couldn't find anything about this.

I heard it's a little more complicated than the rest of the lights.
What needs to be done?

Don't bother. They crack worse than the 99-00 fogs. Better off with aftermarket lights.

Hey guys, I also changed over to the 2001 L lights (thanks to MrtailLight.com) and I have the Classic Design L bumper cover and I chose to NOT go with the 2001 L fog lamps because they crack and once you buy them from Ford, they are yours!

I looked around and looked around and found these sweet EURO looking lights from Pilot Pro Truck Series. The model number I used is #PL-360W, they claim they are engineered for SUV's and P/U's. They are a H.I.D Super White Beam and the have a blue tinted lens with get this a heat sheild just like the SVT lamps do!

Everywhere I go I get thumbs up on my truck, but once they see they bumper lamps, they ask where in the world I got them....

Well I got these thru Advance Auto Parts, yeah I know but these are exactly what I was after as far the looks go. I use a factory switch and just changed to 15AMP fuse to a 20AMP. I will try and post a picture this week when I have time.

I paid $60 for them and they are slick looking if you ask me!

ShowYa in Kansas City!

Hey there BadAzz516

No link, just run by your local Advance Auto Parts store or if you don't have one email me and maybe I could get a set and mail them to you. I have pictures just need to get them scanned this week. Gonna be another busy week @ Ford Motor Company. I am a launch team member for the Lincoln Blackwood and I think maybe just maybe they are ready for production.

Have a good one!

Hey thunderstruck
I did the 01 conversion on my 00 It was a big pain in the *** and once u do the conversion there is no going back to the 00 lights again, cause u have to shave the top of the rounded part of where the fog light goes. Cause the 01 mount totally different and they would sit down on the bottom of the fog light hole causing it too look like ****!! Plus mine r cracked and the oassenger side one is now a fish bowl . I am now on the hunt for a totally different fog light like a PIAA or something or might see if I can foglites off another truck and put my HIDs in them to match the headlights.
