I agree with clonetek about the mph clocks being off,i have witnessed that myself going 2 mph faster everytime in a certain lane so you stay in that lane for braging rights but when you go to another track you are still running 2mph slower so it is obvious there is a error in the mph clocks but most people will never admit it.Unless your truck can back the 110 mph at another track at any time of the year the clocks were probably off a little. As for 110 mph in the quarter with correct mph clocks and with no pulley or nos i don't believe it can be done even in 40 degree air and a tailwind!Just my opinion!

Cool

Matt,

You aren't alone in your assumptions, however, the reality is this:

Two runs in Hallsville, TX last spring at 110+ in different lanes. Both were against TALON club members. Seven other "Ls" from TALON were there all running 3 or more mph slower yet very similar ETs. Check out this link:

This weekend at Ennis FFW; the first qualifying round Saturday into a pretty stiff wind Go_rila ran 110.2 mph. This was in the same lane as the JDM truck which went 11.96@109+. I ran a 12.74 at 110+mph. It should be noted that I did add a PSP lower pulley for the FFW event only. The only answer I can offer is aerodynamics (Roush) and 17inch front tires. I can't wait to get back to Hallsville with the Pulley.

That and the HP the Super Charger steals on the big end. There does seam to be a wall there with the 15 & 16" wheels. HUM, them 30" slicks are beginning to look good.

I had a 110 mph lap back on May 3 of this year, it went 110.49 in the right lane, but when I cam back a half hour later to the left lane it had slowed down to 107.14 this was with stock pulleys, stock MAF and stock cams.

The next week on May 10, the only change I had made was to run the ford 90 MAF with the same PSP chip that had treated me well all year. On that day it ran a 109.86 in the right lane (again)
and an hour later it slowed to 107.30 in the left lane (again).

I was real excited when it ran 110 mph because I had just installed the long tube headers and custom exhaust (Magnaflow parts) I had lowered the front end a bit and done a complete front end alignment, so I thought it was possible.

But after running the truck all summer and never coming close to that mph again, I had to rethink it a little.

The truck finally did crack the 110 mph barrier again on Oct 1, but it had a few more parts installed. I have the PSP pulley now and I installed a mildly ported 01' intake and intercooler and a 4V water pump. This time it had a JDM chip.

I think the numbers are for real now, cause it will do it in either lane LOL.

Sal is revamping the 4-way chip right now and is making it with 4 identical race programs with only one difference, all 4 programs have a different fuel curve. This should help tuning at the track.
