Arrow Need advice on mods guys>>>

I want to do mods that are easily removable for warranty purposes. It took me over a week to take my cobra back to stock and i dont want to do that again!!!!!

Here is a list of mods i am thinking about and would like your input on them>>>>

1. 3 gauge pod 2 1/16 (defi gauges)
2. lower pulley ????
3. chip????
4. air box replacement???
5. decent stereo w/ sub

Everybody chime in if you have any suggestions or advice

Bob

Ps. the first mod is almost installed = 3 coats of zaino in proggress @ 71 miles

All except #2 are GREAT first mods that are easy to remove

There is NO reason to remove the stereo.

Removing the pulley is a bitch.

chip. just put mine in last week and its
by far the best mod so far (not like I have that many,
but..........)

I recommend JDM - Superchips claims that their chips do NOT void warranty. But if you did need to go to the dealership and didnt want to worry about it, its ever-so easy to just unplug it and put the stock cover back over the computer port.

The only hp mods I have right now are listed below,
and already some slicks are sounding neccessary. Mainly
b/c of the chip

congrats, good luck

I'll try to answer your question before the "search police" attack you . I love my JL pulley/chip/filter combo, and all can be removed in a few hours. The first time around is a learning curve, but it's easy once you get the hang of it. Your best bet is to find a mod friendly dealer, although it's hard.

As far as Mods, A chip gives the biggest bang for the buck and is easy to remove, but might leave a trace for the dealer. I love the lower pulley, and a filter kit can be changed back to stock in just a few minutes.

I put a Alpine head unit with 2 pairs of JL Audio coax speakers and I am very happy with the sound. While it is not compitition sound quality, it is a nice clean sounding system.

Here are some links to the 3 major tuners

The gages are a dead give away at the dealer. Everything else is easy.

When I went to the dealer a week ago for some minor problems, I had my triple gauge pod installed and they said, "cool"!!! And I never take off my mods for the dealer. Like someone said earlier, Its all about the dealer, find a cool one!!!
