My son's stationed in Italy and just came back from Germany. He's in Airborne and was there for 60 days. Part of the group that jumped in August and had all the injuries. He made it okay but several in his unit got banged up. Nothing really serious though. He was part of the Armored Division in Killeen before he moved over.
He too, is just sitting and waiting. They are part of the rapid response group and apparently they have a 50/50 change or going (or as my wife would say... staying).
