New Hardcover

Hi All
With the recent posts about hard covers I thought I'd post a pic of my new lid. It was known as a Deflect-a-Lid and is now sold directly through Fibernetics

The lid costs somewhere in the neighborhood of 595.00 to 650.00 plus paint but including installation. You can save a few bucks doing the install yourself which is a real piece of cake..As for the quality I would say it is top notch, this is my 4th flareside f-150 and I've had one on each of them and so far no problems..
The really nice part is that is a quick release unit, you un-clip the two lift struts , lift the back of the lid a little and it slides right off the truck

Thanks for posting pic. I've been trying to decide whether to buy that lid or a couple of others. The only other pics I could find were on a chevy. Looks alot better on the L. Did you have to drill holes for installation?

Yes I did have to drill a few small holes, I did take the time to paint the holes after drilling and then used a bit of clear silicone to seal the area..
